What to do if a registered user forgets his/her profile password?

If a user forgets his/her profile password, he/she needs to fill up and submit the form below. Please note that after receiving a requisition, an email containing a password reset link will be sent to the user shortly. (Sun- Thurs within office hours).

** After submitting this form, you will get an autogenerated email from ICT cell, University of Chittagong confirming your submitted information.
** After submitted data verification, You will get an email from ict@cu.ac.bd containing password reset link. Don’t forget to check spam folder if it’s not in inbox. If you face any difficulty, please contact shimul.ict@cu.ac.bd.

Instructions and Troubleshooting

You will get an Invitation From CU WEBPORTAL for resetting your password. The e-mail body will contain the text

“Hello,
Your password reset link is given from CU WEBPORTAL . Please click the ‘RESET PASSWORD’ button to navigate to the password reset page.
Thank you. “

 

You will be redirected to the password reset page. Please follow the instruction as per image.  You will see your username (in case you forget it) which cannot be changed. After giving the new password twice please click the reset password button and you are done. Then go to the employee login page which is https://cu.ac.bd/people/login.php and login with your new password.
